K12A four-jaw self-centering lathe chuck in nine sizes, 160mm to 630mm, maximum input torque 160 to 800 Nm, rated speed 2500 down to 600 rpm. Self-centering means scroll action — a manual chuck, four jaws closing together off one key. It is not a four-jaw independent chuck and will not do off-center work. What the A model adds over the plain K12 is two-piece jaws to ISO 3442: a base jaw plus a bolt-on, reversible top jaw, so one chuck covers a wider grip range and a worn top jaw is a replacement part on its own. Mounting is three back bolts, M8 to M16, six on the 500 and 630mm. The smallest size is 160mm: a metal lathe chuck, not a part for a mini lathe.
