K11 3 jaw self centering lathe chuck in 16 sizes from 80mm to 500mm, rated for a maximum input torque of 40 to 630 Nm. It is a scroll chuck: one key turns the scroll and all three jaws move together, so round and hexagonal stock centers itself without indicating. Two sets of one-piece jaws come with every chuck, internal and external; soft jaws can be ordered and bored in place for precision work. Maximum speed falls as the chuck grows — 4800 rpm on the 80mm, 850 rpm on the 500mm — so size it to the work, not to the spindle nose. Mounting is the short cylindrical register on the back.
