Tapping Chuck for Morse Taper Arbors

Tapping chuck for M2 to M24 taps (1/8 to 15/16 inch), on a B16, B18, B22 or JT3, JT6, JT33 socket. It mounts the way a drill chuck does — the socket takes a Morse taper arbor, so the chuck itself has no Morse shank. That is the Morse taper vs Jacobs taper distinction, and the two arbors that fit are listed with this chuck. Four tapping ranges, each with its own clamp diameter between Φ2.5 and Φ18 — match your tap shank to the clamp range, not just the thread size. It runs on tapping machines, drill presses, high-speed lathes, CNC machining centres and any reversible spindle. There is no tension-compression float in it, so where the feed is not synchronised with the spindle a floating tapping head is the safer choice. Taps are not included.
