CAT-SLN side lock end mill holder in CAT40 and CAT50, with bores from 1/8" to 2" and gage lengths of 2.37" to 6". Bore sizes are imperial only: the holder takes a straight-shank end mill with a Weldon flat, and the side-set screw bears directly on that flat, the most rigid way to hold a roughing tool. CAT40 vs CAT50 is a coverage question: CAT40 (also written CT40) runs 1/8" through 1-1/2" in twelve models, while CAT50 starts at 1/4" and reaches 2" in eleven, so the small end of the range is CAT40 territory. Body diameters run 0.69" to 3.75", the dimensions to check when the fixture crowds the holder. V-flange steep taper throughout, 23 models. The pull stud is ordered separately.
