The TCVC thumb-clamp vernier caliper reads 0.02mm / 0.001" over four ranges, 0-150mm to 0-300mm, or 0-6" to 0-12". It solves a problem every machinist knows: you find your measurement, then lose it the moment you lift the caliper. The auto self-locking thumb clamp holds the jaw the instant you release pressure — there is no locking screw to fumble for, because there is not one to begin with. Every range carries both scales, metric and inch, so you read whichever the print uses. The frame is mono-block closed, stainless steel throughout, and the jaws cover all four measurements: OD, ID, depth and step. Jaw reach grows with range, 21mm on the 150 to 26mm on the 300.
