Water-cooled shrink fit machine, 15 kW, supplied with its industrial chiller, for holder bores Ø3 to Ø32 mm. It is a floor-standing unit measuring 690 × 580 × 1528 mm and weighing 115 kg. The chiller is part of the machine rather than an accessory and draws 0.75 to 1 kW in addition to the 15 kW. This makes the machine well suited to shops where shrink fitting is continuous and cooling time would otherwise delay the next tool change. Induction heating expands the holder bore, the tool is inserted, and as the holder cools it contracts uniformly around the tool shank — no collet, no nut, no wrench. Protective gloves and safety glasses are supplied, because the holder is hot when it comes off the machine.
