IP54 digital caliper measuring 0-150, 0-200 and 0-300 mm, reading 0.01 mm, accurate to ±0.03 mm (±0.04 at 300). IP54 is a protection rating, and for calipers it means splashing water, oil mist and airborne dust stay out of the mechanism — a splash rating for a wet bench, not a waterproof one and not for a coolant jet. The fixed glass scale is what keeps it honest: where a metal scale drifts with temperature and humidity, glass holds. Anti-magnetic, anti-static and EMI-resistant circuitry protects the reading in an electrically noisy shop, and the main scale and jaws are hardened stainless steel. The battery is an LR44, and a wrench comes in the box, so replacement needs no screwdriver.
