CNMG1204 Turning Insert

CNMG1204 Turning Insert is an 80° rhombus shaped carbide insert designed for external rough turning operations. Features 4 cutting edges for economy, available in multiple nose radius options (0.4mm, 0.8mm, 1.2mm) for various machining requirements. TM chip breaker for reliable chip control in medium steel machining, and CVD TiN+Al2O3 dual-tone coating (black top, gold sides) for excellent wear and heat resistance. The negative rake design provides high strength and stability for interrupted cutting. Grade YT120S with tough 8-12% cobalt substrate ensures durability in 45# steel, Q235/A3, spring steel, mold steel, and cast steel (HRC40 and below).
